We believe that it is important to have a
code of conduct. The most important aspect is confidentiality.
When you meet people through our events, you may disclose information
about your career, friends or family which is not intended to
be discussed indiscriminately. Our suggestion is that you should
be careful about the information you disclose. If it really
is that confidential, should you be telling someone that you
have just met? Secondly, we would ask that respect the privacy
of others. A number of our members are business professionals
and it may not be appropriate to tell all your friends and colleagues
about the person you have just met.
At our events, we ask that you behave in an
appropriate manner – do not drink excessively as you may
embarrass yourself and make it unpleasant for the other members.
It is also wise to select your conversation topics carefully
and keep away from potential contentious subjects like religion
and politics.
We reserve the right to terminate membership
for breach of confidentiality or inappropriate behaviour
